The Landwehrkanal is Kreuzberg’s living room: plane trees and chestnuts closing over both banks, swans working the tour-boat wakes, and the whole neighborhood on the grass at the first sun. For the walker the banks read as a continuous four-kilometer canopy line — the coolest east–west route across the district.
